Big Spring Clean

In preparation for Streetland the Govanhill Residents Group will be carrying out a cleanup and garden tidying event on Saturday 16th April. The event will be part of Keep Scotland Beautiful's National Spring Clean event and will be one of hundreds of cleanup events taking place across the country. It will also be supported by Clean Glasgow. We are looking for as many community volunteers as possible to get involved and make a big impact on the litter and rubbish that blights our streets and gardens.

If you have a few hours to spare on Saturday please come down and show your support. We're meeting in the Westmoreland Gardens in Westmoreland Street and will be tackling the surrounding streets and front gardens. Refreshments for volunteers afterwards. 

If you know of an area we should be targeting please suggest before Saturday.
