Event Description
Taking place from 12 til 4 on Saturday the 30th of April 2011, and aping the conventions of the village fete, Southside studios will open its doors for a barbeque, home baking, games and art. Drawing on ideas of the local and communal, transposing the rural to the urban, the studio complex will perform the function of the village green, creating a relaxed environment in which to view art works themed around folklore (be it traditional or urban) and to participate in old fashioned games with a modern twist.
