The weekend that was.....

Nigh on 7 days since Westmoreland St and roundabout were filled with people for the launch and events of Streetland.

A heady weekend of music, art, poetry, gardening, hula hooping and general bonhomie, highlights are many and diverse, allow me to share some of mine here...

Thanks to everyone who made Streetland happen; giving your time, expertise, support, spaces, ideas and enthusiasm. Thanks to everyone who took part, creating a buzz of activity over the weekend; occupying and exploring, listening and signing, dancing and hanging in the streets of Govanhill.

A special thanks to Lucie Potter who put a huge amount of work into organising Streetland, enabling us to put together a festival in three months!
