Streetland Meetland raised a whopping 500 quid!

So, we managed to get a PA together plus some cakes and booze and the Streetland Meetland fundraiser was an amazing success! 

We were treated to music from local folks Williwaw, Dean Queasy, Fox Gut Daata and Richard from Numbers, plus a brain-testing quiz which somehow morphed into an auction courtesy of the energetic winning team. And thanks to all you generous folks we raised a total of £520.48 which will go towards making Streetland 2011 happen.

Not that we're cutting it fine - the main event is in just four weeks' time, April 29 and 30 - so we're now finalising the programme and setting about getting this show on the road. Watch this space for programme details as they come.
